Turner is entering her third season playing pro beach volleyball. In 1997, she played on the Midwest Pro Tour and in 1999 she played on the Australian Pro Circuit. She attended George Washington High in San Francisco, where she was a two-time team MVP and a two-time All-City star. She has won several AAA and CVBA tournaments, and was ranked #1 in the CVBA for May, June, and July 2000.
