- In 2000, Blanton along with his partner Eric Fonoimoana won the Gold Medal at the Olympic Summer Games in Sydney, Austrailia
- In 2000, Dain took third place in Belgium and fifth in Portugal on the FIVB World Tour
- On the FIVB World Tour in 1999, Dain finished fourth in Austria and Belgium and he took ninth in the World Championships with Eric
