Career Highlights

• In 1995, Henkel began his professional volleyball career on the beach circuit and earned 14 top-five finishes with his partner, Sinjin Smith
• 1n 1996, Henkel took fifth at the Olympic Summer Games in Atlanta, Georgia with Sinjin
• In 1998, Henkel paired with Kevin Wong and had two fifth place finishes on the FIVB World Tour
• In 1999, Carl placed fifth in the FIVB event in Argentina
• Later in 1999, Henkel paired with Smith and had five top-10 finishes on the FIVB World Tour
• In 2000, Carl had his top international finish in four years, placing second at the FIVB Belgium Open with his partner Sinjin
