Career Highlights
  • In 2000, Busch had her best finish in her career, winning the BVA Hermosa Beach Tournament with Leanne Schuster.
  • At the end of the 2000 season, she was named BVA Best Setter, and BVA Most Improved Player, along with Leanne Schuster and Rachel Wacholder.
  • In her career, she has earned over $30,000 in prize money.
  • Prior to the 2000 season, Busch had her best finish on the pro beach tour in 1999, when she teamed with Schuster for a fourth place finish at the Oldsmobile Beach Volleyball Olympic Challenge Series event in Virginia Beach.
  • In 1999, she also teamed with Liz Pagano for a fifth place finish at the inaugural beach volleyball competition at the Pan American Games, which were held in Winnipeg, Canada.

College

  • Busch played her collegiate career at Texas.
  • She earned All-American and All-Southwest Conference honors during her career there.
  • In 1995, she was the setter on the Lady Longhorn team that finished in second place in the NCAA Tournament. Texas lost the final to Nebraska.
  • Her sister, Nikki, was also an All-American volleyball player at Texas, where they played for head coach, Mick Haley, the USA Women's National Team coach at the 2000 Olympics and current coach at USC.
