Schroeder is entering her second season in pro beach volleyball. She played one year of collegiate volleyball at UC Santa Barbara before transferring to PSI, where she earned an associate degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant. In high school, she was the first freshman ever to make the varsity team at Marymount High School. She was also MVP and 1st Team All-American at Palisades High School her junior and senior years. Schroeder is also a singer, and has an album currently out right now called 'Paradise'. Her cousin, Terri Schroeder, is captain of the USA Olympic water polo team and her grandfather, Patrick McGoohan, is a famous actor in England. He played the role of King in the movie 'Braveheart'.
