Career Highlights
  • In the first season of the BVA Tour, Hanley's best finish was at Santa Monica, where she and Nancy Reno finished in second place. She also finished fourth at the BVA Oceanside event with Reno and fourth at the BVA Long Beach event with Karrie Poppinga.
  • Other top 2000 finishes with Reno were a third at the Oldsmobile Beach Volleyball Olympic Challenge Series event in Virginia Beach, Virginia and a fourth at he FIVB Chicago event.
  • In her career, Hanley has won 14 tournament titles and over $400,000 in prize money.
  • Hanley and partner, Barbra Fontana, teamed to win four tournaments together and also placed fourth at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, the best finish of the USA women.
  • She and Fontana placed first at the 1996 USA Olympic Trials in Baltimore, Maryland.
  • Hanley and Fontana won the 1995 FIVB Brazil event in Santos, Brazil.
